The following list of parts are needed for installing N63TU3 turbos on a N63TU2 engine. Some parts are significantly cheaper used (eBay, etc.), where quality doesn’t really matter (e.g. coolant and oil lines). TU3 turbos can be hybrids to make even more power. TU3 wastegate actuators fit TU3 turbos properly and are more responsive than TU2 actuators. For best fitment, the compressor side of the turbo on the bank 1 turbo (passenger) may need to be clocked slightly (1/8″ on the outer edge of turbo counterclockwise when facing the compressor). And note that no block off plate is needed for the TU3 blow-off valves – the way they are designed power is only needed to open them because they have a piston-like seal inside which results in essentially no force being required to keep them closed, so the weak spring that closes the plunger is plenty to prevent boost from escaping (and the TU and TU2 DME software is designed to bleed off boost through the engine, so there’s no need for the blow-off valve). TU3 turbos with stock injectors and HPFPs are good for 24-25 psi of boost with E40 (700-750 HP at the crank).

Upgrading injectors and HPFPs allow 28+ psi of boost to be run with E50 (800-850 HP at the crank). The F90 cross bank fuel line is direct fit, but requires removal of the alternator. The feed lines to the fuel rails need to be bent to accommodate the HPFPs (which can be accomplished with 2 wrenches).
